Suffice it to say, the title does most of the talking. For several months, Brand New Church has experienced a down-turn in giving and as a direct consequence of this, as of October 1 BNC is unable to pay 5 current staff members.

On Sept. 16, I was informed that my position would be a part of this round of layoffs. Immediately I began to seek employment elsewhere and am in the final negotiations of a new job to begin Oct. 1. Obviously I am not ready to announce with what organization this is yet, but I can tell you that my new job is not in the Harrison, AR area (where I currently reside) and so I will be moving very quickly.

I am incredibly excited about this new journey that God has for me, but will miss all of my Brand New Church family extensively. It has been said by many that the hope of the world is the local church. I believe this to be true with all of my heart and know that Brand New Church will continue to be relentless in doing whatever it take to fulfill its mission of bringing those far from God to God.
